5 Action Steps you need to do everyday in 2018

With the start of the New Year it is a time for new beginnings and new challenges. Black Bold and Natural is here to give you 5 purposeful actions everyday in 2018 to have an amazing and healthy year.

Try to drink a full glass of water before going to bed and waking up each day. Drinking water has been proven to help you lose weight. So if one your goals this year is to lose weight drink more water! Not only does it help you lose weight it can help clean up acne. If you are one those people who hate the taste of water try adding lemon, mint or cucumber to it! Drink ½ of your body weight. If you weigh 160 pounds, you need to drink 80 ounces of water.

  1. Be active!

Whether it’s going for a walk or going hardcore at the gym. If you don’t wanna work out or lack the no motivation try these little tips:  Say you are doing a twist out and you get bored, take a break do 5 squats with every 5 twists you do. Or you can do a 5 minute work out before you get in the shower and are waiting for your water to warm up.

  1. Get organized!

Do one thing that gets you organized each day whether it’s small like picking things up in your room, making your bed, or organizing your closet. Getting clean and organized is so important. This action step will help you get focused and give you clarity on what you have to do.

  1. Set goals

It’s so important to set daily, monthly and yearly goals because if you don’t have goals, what are you aiming for in your life? Setting goals can help you better yourself. Make sure to write them out and using the SMART format. Be Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Timely. Writing your goals in this format will hold you accountable and make sure that your goals are clear and reachable.

  1. Write down what you are grateful for


Write 3 things down that you are thankful for it only takes 30 seconds to 2 minutes. This simple action makes you naturally bubble up with joy and give a meaning to why you are grateful. The reason we feel it so greatful is because if you are reminded of all the things you have rather than the things you don’t.  You become a happier person you feel more fulfilled and joyful.
