Pursue Purpose

Beyonce’s powerful images and words at the 59th Grammys were powerful beyond belief. Her hard ability to work hard and never stop and to take us on her life’s journey is empowering beyond measure. The influence that she has on the world is rare and we must recognize that we are living through historical moments. Leaders in a position such as her is rare but I believe that tonight she has inspired a movement for all people of color. We not only need to watch her in all of her greatness but we need to follow her lead and start to create where we see lack. We need to embrace our blackness and go forward loving who we are without fear. Beyonce is pursuing her purpose. Let’s all live and walk in our purpose by continuously pushing the boundaries that try to hold us back.
