A Journey for Alyssa

Last month @Alyssa_Denise_Peace submitted her story to be featured on the site. Please read, enjoy and show Alyssa some love as she is the epitome of Black Excellence; everyday she lives boldly and she does it with grace, naturally.

“I have always wanted to log my hair but I was self conscious and always cared what people thought about me. Now that I am older I don’t care about other people’s opinions because I am doing what makes me happy. Side note: I am a Shea Moisture junky lol, that product line is the only thing I use.

I am currently a full time student and I also work full time. In addition I am in the army reserves. I have been married for 7 year and I am a mother of 2 beautiful girls ages 6 and 3. My main goal is to become a dentist which I am working very hard towards.”

Alyssa works day in and day out to achieve her dream and we take our hat off to you! You are doing an excellent job. We look forward to hearing about your success and as the Black Bold and Natural Family we are here to encourage, empower and shine light on your good works.
